Hebrews 12:2
” Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 2:9
“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”
There is a right direction to look in and to keep our eyes on today. That right direction is Jesus. The writer of Hebrews under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost said, “Looking unto Jesus.” He said again, “But we see Jesus.” Our eyes are on Jesus because He is the one that started our faith and He is the one that shall finish it.

Isaiah 32:1
“Behold, a King shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgement.And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land”.
THE HIDING PLACE
I like the meaning of to hide, which is to be put in a condition of being safe. It is like a prudent young man who sees the tribulations or storms coming and goes to hide himself. A hiding place is for protection, safety and shelter that keeps you from danger. We live in an area that people build storm pits or cyclone cellars to keep them safe from tornadoes. A warning is given of an approaching storm and people leave their houses and homes to go to the storm pits for safety, shelter, and protection. The shelters, or hiding place, gives you peace of mind that no matter how bad the storm you will be safe.

Matthew 10: 7-8
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
1. AS YOU GO, PREACH, SAYING
2. THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND
3. HEAL THE SICK
4. CLEANSE THE LEPERS
5. RAISE THE DEAD
6. CAST OUT DEVILS
7. FREELY YE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY GIVE
RAISE THE DEAD!
Jesus is life. Jesus is the God of the living and not of the dead. Jesus said he came that we might have life.
